A guy on Craigslist came over tonight interested in the unused refrigerator we were selling that has been sitting in our basement for several years. When the guy came over I went out to the garage where Jon was to "check things out" (ie, make sure the guy didn't have a gun and was robbing Jon blind). Once I deemed that this guy was legitimately interested in our fridge I went back into the house (side note: what exactly did my 17-week pregnant self think I was going to do to heroically protect Jon if this guy was holding a gun to his forehead?).
Jon came back inside the house 15 minutes later beaming for several reasons:
1. We got rid of the fridge and made $85 and (most importantly)
2. The guy asked Jon after I left, "so you have a little one on the way, huh?".
Woohoo! A stranger could tell that I'm pregnant and didn't think I just had too much pizza and beer! We're making progress!
